Punch Industry USA Inc.’s applies its know-how as a custom core pin supplier to meet moldmakers’ requirements for precision, tight tolerances and improved surface finishes with smaller length and smaller diameter mold micro pins in both steel and carbide. With the support of its global manufacturing facilities, Punch Industry says it is able to supply ferrule pins up to ø0.004". For micro medical core pins, the company has regularly achieved up to ø0.007". 

The U.S. subsidiary of turnkey mold and die component manufacturer, Punch Industry Co. Ltd., the company utilizes five-axis equipment, CNC cutting and grinding machines, EDM and specialized equipment like Rollomatic, DedTru centerless OD/ID grinders, profile grinders, cylindrical grinders and more. Punch Industry says it is well-known for its M2 rounds with exceptional SPI or mirror finish, achieved through grinding alone. Facilities include in-house heat treating; nitriding; hard chrome, TiN and TiCN coating; and access to outside coating vendors.
