Hose Assembly Tool Makes Easy Work of Coupler Assembly
From the Mouldpro line, Globeius introduces a hose assembly tool solution for getting the right couplers for mold cooling line needs.
Globeius Inc. makes creating mold cooling couplers easier with its Mouldpro hose assembly tool (HAT). HAT is designed for optimal assembly of push-on fittings and standard hose-tail couplers used for mold cooling lines. Different adapters are available that can be used to easily assemble straight, 45- and 90-degree couplers and hose-tail fittings of any type.
“The base tool, which is made of aluminum for ease of portability wherever the tool is needed, is compact and easily mounted on a work surface using a vice to grip onto its lateral sides,” explains Graeme Sands, general manager of Globeius. “Alternatively, the base plate can be mounted on a flat surface using supplied M8 screws on the four Ø8.5 holes on the bottom plate.”
Adapter assembly on the Hose Assembly Tool is easy, according to the company. Using the provided ball, spring, and quill screw, the user mounts the appropriate adapter on the shaft of the tool and fastens it securely. Next, simply rotate the adapter to the correct position for the coupler type required, and it is ready for use.
Globeius is the distributor for Mouldpro products in North America, including descaling pumps and inline water filters.
