“Conversations with industry over the past few years have revealed the need for a moldmaking-specific educational conference, and I think now is the perfect time to produce an event like this for the mold manufacturing community,” says Christina Fuges, editorial director for MoldMaking Technology. “This event focuses on providing the educational resources to help shop owners, builders, designers and engineers take their design, production, workforce and business to the next level. As technology and techniques evolve, the industry needs events like this to showcase the innovative ways mold manufacturing is changing.”

“We are so excited to bring an education event for the mold manufacturing community, and the larger plastics community, to the Charlotte area,” says Allison Kline Miller, chief events officer for Gardner Business Media. “Our team has a wealth of experience producing conferences for this sector, so we’re thrilled to bring that knowledge to mold manufacturers. The region is thirsty for this technical content as the industry continues to expand in the southeast.”

The MoldMaking Conference will be co-located with Molding 2022, a conference focused on providing high-quality education sessions to the injection molding community. Attendees of both conferences will be able to attend sessions at either conference at no additional cost, providing a unique value to attendees with a potential interest in both industries.

A full lineup of sessions will be available in the MMC Registration Brochure, which will be sent along with the September issues of MoldMaking Technology and posted on the event’s website, MoldMakingConference.com. MMC will also feature a special networking reception at the NASCAR Hall Of Fame.

Early bird pricing for the event is $995. Registering after the early bird deadline of October 7th will cost $1,195. Group discounts are available to shops or facilities with three or more employees registering to attend. If you are seeking a group discount, contact Brittany Belko at bbelko@gardnerweb.com.
