A mold builder once told me that “moldmaking is a relentless pursuit of innovation” in all areas of the process and business. This statement guided the development of the program for this year’s MoldMaking Conference and revealed some hot topics — automation, data, 3D printing and training.

ATTENTION: company owners, operations managers, shop supervisors, toolroom managers, shop senior management, mold procurement personnel, mold designers, part designers, processing and troubleshooting personnel, and human resources, accounting, and sales and marketing teams.

While MoldMaking Technology reviews technologies and processes, the MoldMaking Conference provides insight into the application of technology, processes and strategies shared by your fellow shops, customers and vendors. The goal is to bring the technologies and best practices necessary for the critical decision-making that needs to take place by the mold builder and mold buyer to the forefront.

The MoldMaking Conference is again co-located with the Molding Conference — one registration permits access to both programs. However, this year, we are deliberately bringing both groups together for a few joint sessions each afternoon.
