As K 2016 quickly approaches, we’re providing a preview of a few of the products that will be featured there from October 19-26 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Husky Injection Molding Systems will launch its next-generation HyCAP4 system for high-output beverage closure molding. Enhancements include intelligent features that make it easier to use, with simplified controls for faster process setup and improved repeatability.
Engel will present its Inject 4.0 program, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the “smart” factory with its smart machine, smart production and smart service solutions.
Foboha will present three demonstrations of its rotary cube mold technology together with other exhibitors, including Arburg, Milacron and Engel.
Bekum will premier its EBlow 37 electric blow-molding machine, which combines the basics of the EBlow electric packaging series with the advantages of the BA 34.2 hydraulic canister machine.
Ewikon will display hot runner solutions for multi-tip gating and valve gating, with a focus on compact multi-cavity applications.
Günther will display a variety of hot runner technology, including the OktaFlow Type OMT multi-tip hot runner nozzle, designed for side gating in compact, multi-cavity molds.

This year there will be more than 3,200 exhibitors inhabiting over 171,245 square feet of exhibition space, and it is all dedicated to the plastics and rubber industries. Amazing.
So take a look at the products I’ve included here for a very mild taste of what you can expect if you’re traveling to the show. Next Tuesday we’ll provide another glimpse of more products from K.
