1 How do you create and maintain an employee-centered culture?
Open and honest dialogue that creates respect, which creates understanding, which creates loyalty, and then ownership. You have to maintain a totally transparent environment.
2 What are your top 3 best technology investments/recommendations, and why?
Apprenticeship, software for machines and systems, and semi and full automation. The software is important, the automation is important, but if you don't have people who are qualified to get the job done, you're wasting your money.
3 What is your latest process improvement?
Direct dialog with all the owners within the business. We have a very clear, precise communication avenue.
4 How do you measure success/metrics?
Customer relationships we have and keep.
5 How do you stay competitive/take advantage of new business opportunities?
Create a sustainable business model that's flexible, control your overhead, understand your competition, understand your customer more and know that you are only as good as your last delivery, so you better make sure it's good.
