DME introduces the MPC family of hot runner control systems. Designed to increase processing efficiency, the MPC’s advanced operator interface is said to decrease setup time and provide operators with exclusive tools to more efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and make process changes.
The MPC family offer reliable and precise control of a hot runner system with the simplest possible operator interface on the market, the company says. Fast control behavior reportedly makes the system universally applicable for the control of all standard systems, as well as for demanding, high-performance applications with low-mass, slim nozzles.
Its intuitive user interface features limited touches (clicks), smart navigation, a quick start guide and on-screen function descriptions. The MPC incorporates a real-time, on-board user manual built into every program page. The MPC also retains an integrated troubleshooting and service guide with step-by-step photos readily available to the operator.
High-level password protection, recipe storage and chart recording are all standard features of DME’s MPC controller. The MPC is also Wi-Fi capable for easy interface with remote devices, such as tablets and smart phones. The MPC controller family, when properly equipped, allows for remote placement of the display/operator interface (mounted on the press cabinet).
Each MPC hot runner controller comes with a wide range of communication protocols (Ethernet, RS485, USD, Euromap) as standard equipment, for flexible injection molding machine integration. DME adds that multiple tower systems can be seamlessly daisy-chained together for high-cavitation applications.
