High-Torque Air Grinder is Highly Effective for Deburring, Die Polishing
Added to Boride’s micro grinder series, the HTSG-3S is an ideal tool for polishing and precision grinding, with stable torque and constant grinding performance.
Boride Engineered Abrasives has added a new air grinder to its extensive line of polishing equipment. The new HTSG-3S high-torque air grinder is reportedly the most powerful grinder in Boride’s air micro grinder series. Its rotational speed is limited to 24,000 rpm, providing stable torque with constant grinding performance under load, making it ideal for mounted abrasives with low maximum rpm speed requirements. It is designed to be highly effective in deburring and die polishing. Still lightweight with an ergonomic body, Boride says the HTSG-3S uses 40% less air than the existing models, reducing plant air consumption, but still has double the torque and power.
“Air grinders are excellent tools for polishing and precision grinding, but most general grinders feature high speeds that exceed recommended mounted abrasives operating speeds resulting in broken abrasives, damaged products or injuries,” Annette Thompson, Boride’s sales and marketing manager, says. “By adding this low-speed, high-torque grinder, it allows for a larger selection of abrasives with less errors.”
