Cloud-Based Asset Management System Attains Next-Level Mold Monitoring
Progressive Components’ ProFile v4 acts as a simplified tracking system to organize, maintain and track global molds and equipment to for complete real-time monitoring.
Progressive Components has provided the industry with new mold monitoring advancements for nearly 30 years and continues with its introduction of ProFile v4, an advanced cloud-based asset management system.
According to Progressive, ProFile can be used as a simplified tracking system to organize, maintain and track global tools and equipment or interface with Progressive’s CVe Monitor for complete real-time monitoring, maximizing the monitoring, maintenance and production capabilities of OEMs, molders and mold builders.
Progressive’s Asset Tags and Plates enable users to access the ProFile cloud-based system to organize assets, manage preventive maintenance, create work orders, track parts consumed during these activities and store related documents and photos while logging GPS locations.
For maintenance and repair, ProFile enables users to create custom checklists for various asset classes and set maintenance intervals based on cycles, run hours or calendars. Users can be alerted when preventive maintenance (PM) is due, and the type of maintenance required. PM adherence can be tracked to ensure that the molds are being maintained as scheduled and for audit compliance.
ProFile also offers a complete Work Order system for all assets. Operators can generate and track work performed, hours spent and parts consumed during this activity. The Parts Consumed feature is supported by a Spare Parts Inventory function within the system. The comprehensive data collected within this process can generate the true cost of maintenance reports.
Both PM and Work Orders can be managed within the system or by utilizing the ProFile mobile app.
Finally, in instances where data sharing is critical between ProFile and ERP/MES systems, custom APIs can be created to make the data transfers to and from ProFile.
