Blue Wave Ultrasonics manufactures ultrasonic cleaning systems and user-friendly detergents specifically designed for cleaning injection mold tooling.  These systems provide a powerful, microscopic scrubbing action that effectively removes outgassing residues, release agents and grime from even intricate, hard-to-reach areas such as details, ejector pin holes and vent channels, all without abrasives that can damage molding surfaces.

Blue Wave continues its customer-forward innovation with the release of an integrated Blow-Off Station as part of the company’s Three Stage Clean, Rinse and Rust Inhibit cleaning systems. The integration of the Blow-Off Station includes a backsplash, providing a convenient area for tooling to be blown dry with compressed air and inspected for cleanliness. This integration eliminates solution drips seen with a separate blow-off and enables the installation of the ultrasonic generator and filtration components under the blow-off area.

Blue Wave offers the Blow-Off Station in a variety of standard sizes as well as custom sizes to fit specific tooling needs. The affordable system provides customers with savings regarding installation and footprint size, the latter of which is achieved via elimination of a separate generator stand and filtration system base. Moreover, labor time involved in a mold teardown and rebuild is said to be reduced by as much as 70%, while also improving mold performance and eliminating hazardous solvents and mold rework costs.  Blue Wave offers complimentary sample cleaning service at its facility in Davenport, Iowa, along with demonstration units available for trial at customer facilities.
