United Grinding North America Opens New Ohio Headquarters
United Grinding has new headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio. The move brings together offices in Miamisburg with machines and staff that were previously in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
In just over a year after breaking ground, United Grinding North America, Inc. has officially opened the doors of its new, 110,000-square-foot headquarters in preparation for a ribbon-cutting event on November 3. The building brings the company’s cylindrical, surface and profile grinding business units as well as its automation and rebuilding departments from its existing offices in Miamisburg, Ohio, together with the staff from its tool and cutter grinding machines and measurement systems sectors who were formerly located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
The new facility has productivity improvements, which the company says were designed to enable the group to build upon partnerships and provide innovative services to customers. United Grinding says that its customers have communicated that they need faster response times and complete life-cycle solutions, and the new building was designed to provide precision and speed.
United Grinding seeks to use the new facility to offer complete grinding services, all under one roof. Its Solutions Center provides space for comprehensive software training and demonstrations. The company says the purpose of its efforts is to make it possible to offer customers the turnkey solutions they require at the speed of modern manufacturing.
