MoldMaking Technology, a Gardner Business Media brand, will host and produce the MoldMaking Conference on November 8-9, 2022, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event will be co-located with the Molding Conference, giving attendees the ability to attend sessions at either conference with relative ease and for no additional cost.

“The success of PTXPO made it clear that the industry is ready to engage and learn from each other. As a result, we believe it is the right time to launch a MoldMaking Conference dedicated to the mold manufacturing community,” says Christina Fuges, editorial director of MoldMaking Technology. “The program will bring the publication’s Engineer, Build, Maintain and Manage ‘tagline’ to life while giving attendees a glimpse of what modern mold manufacturing can look like. Presentations from technology and service suppliers as well as moldmakers, molders and OEMs will review technology investment and deployment for the variety of processes used to design and build a mold, will increase awareness and planning for more proactive mold maintenance and will examine challenges and strategies to further evolve from being a mold shop to a mold manufacturer.”

“Seeing how lively and eager this community was at the MoldMaking Pavilion at PTXPO, I know the MoldMaking Conference will be exactly what this hungry community needs,” says Allison Kline Miller, chief events officer with Gardner Business Media. “From our experience hosting Amerimold, we know that the mold manufacturing community is constantly in need of new, innovative technical sessions as the business and art of moldmaking changes. So, we are offering high-quality educational sessions alongside the networking opportunities Gardner has become known for across manufacturing.”

In addition to a full education schedule, the MoldMaking Conference will host an opening networking reception at the Nascar Museum, connected to the Charlotte Convention Center.

A full education schedule and pricing details will be announced later. For more information on the show, visit moldmakingconference.com.
