There are advantages, beyond the obvious, to attending Amerimold Expo 2019.

Obvious: It is an excellent resource for seeing what is new in the way of products and services from vendors to the moldmaking industry.

Not so obvious: Getting to meet NEW exhibitors who may be offering something innovative that your company can capitalize on. Don’t discount the exhibitors that may be unfamiliar or different from the status quo your company follows. New technologies and new approaches to moldmaking and molding are introduced all the time.

Obvious: At Amerimold there are more than 200 exhibitors ready and eager to meet every one of the nearly 3,000 attendees (on average) who attend the show. A great advantage!

Not so obvious: OEMs and molders take note – Amerimold exhibitors are not just suppliers of such things as CAD/CAM software, hot runner systems, mold bases and materials, mold maintenance products, mold components and more. Currently there are also 28 North American mold manufacturing companies who will be exhibiting! So, if you are on the market for expert moldmakers who serve a wide variety of industries, come to Amerimold. You won’t be disappointed.

Obvious: Amerimold is the leading exhibition dedicated to the North American mold manufacturing industry.

Not so obvious: Amerimold is more than an exhibition. It is a place where moldmakers and their colleagues meet to learn new strategies and best practices from each other and from supplier experts in the industry. Check out our Tech Talk Theater schedule and be sure to plan to attend sessions in addition to walking the aisles. Additionally, Amerimold is also offering two workshops. One focuses on medical injection molding and the other on additive manufacturing for plastics. Take it from those who know – two days will fly by with so many things to do.

Obvious: Moldmaking industry folks love to have fun.

Not so obvious: Moldmaking industry folks are multitaskers. They love to have fun, so Amerimold hosts a great networking reception right after MoldMaking Technology announces this year’s Leadtime Leader shop at show closing on Wednesday, June 12. The multitasking comes in when attendees begin meeting new friends and colleagues, eating good food, having a few cold beverages, dancing and more.

Obvious: Amerimold will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, this year.

Not so obvious: Rosemont is closely situated to the City of Chicago and O’Hare Airport, making it especially convenient for out-of-towners to attend the event and have several options for food and entertainment when the show closes each day. For those who plan to spend a little time in the Windy City, it is about an 18-mile drive to Chicago from Rosemont. Find out what is happening the week of Amerimold here: choosechicago.com. If you want to stay closer to “home” in Rosemont, there’s still plenty to do, including sky diving (well, simulated), popular restaurants and bars, theater (live and cinema), shopping, concerts, sports events and more. Look for a calendar of events at rosemont.com.

Where do you begin? That is up to you. We recommend that if you want to make any specific plans for extracurricular activities while attending Amerimold, you do it sooner than later. The same applies to finding hotel accommodations.

We are excited to welcome you to Amerimold 2019!
