For the first time, Husky will be running its new HyPET HPP5e system at K 2019, designed to delivering better energy savings, system reliability, preform quality and user friendliness. The system will be producing preforms made from 100% recycled PET.
The company will also showcase its broad portfolio of tooling technologies to achieve maximized value, productivity and flexibility. This includes the NexPET Mold, which is a flexible mid-volume tool for shorter production runs and frequent changeovers, as well as introductions of a versatile, energy-efficient platform of PET preform molding solutions and of the company’s online spare parts ordering portal. The company will spotlight latest hot runner and controller developments, including the family of Altanium mold controllers and Ultra Helix 250 T2 valve gates, which are designed to improve part quality and maintain superior gate quality for millions of cycles for small parts with difficult to access gate locations.
The company will also preview its Next Generation Operating Model, a digitalized end-to-end manufacturing system that offers enhanced capabilities to deliver solutions and enables customers to more quickly respond to changing consumer trends. The company will highlight its various solutions to support developing sustainable packaging solutions.
