Online Portal Optimizes Navigation, Configuration and Ordering
The Hasco Portal provides global designers, moldmakers and injection molders the ability to search, configure and easily order from more than 100,000 standard components.
Coinciding with Hasco’s redesigned website launch in 2023, the company is highlighting the Hasco Portal, a navigational feature that acts as more than an intelligent product search with a simple ordering service. Under the Portal, Hasco has made all key data available for mold design with interfaces to CAD systems. From the initial idea to final production, customers are supported by many user-friendly tools. Since May, U.S. and Canadian customers are also able to access the Portal and online shop.
Efficient product navigation with extensive full-text search functions enables reliable location of the desired items from more than 100,000 standard components. Simplification of the ordering procedure is assisted by product modules that have been specifically incorporated into the range. These are technically related products, which have been logically combined after field testing. Individual parts and article interdependencies are defined ready for assembly, and are combined under one order number for fast identification.
Through the Mold Building Assistant, molds can be configured in just five work steps. The clearly presented design process allows access to a complete range of ready-to-assemble system components. Via customized cost calculation — also with one-off production — part lists are generated and the complete order goes directly for processing to Hasco.
With the Ejector Configurator, it’s possible for customers to benefit from simple online configuration of individually cut-to-length ejectors. Alongside various diameters and freely definable lengths, four tolerance steps are available, namely from 0/+2 to ±0.01 mm, which adds flexibility to individual ejector selection.
At www.hasco.com, products, innovations and services are available worldwide 24/7 to designers, moldmakers and injection molders. Its responsive design also optimizes usability on all mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops.
