Velosity Appoints Vice President of Operations, Accelerates Strategic Goals

As vice president of operations, Rich Patraw will provide strategic leadership for Velosity teams located at multiple company sites.

Velosity has appointed Rich Patraw as vice president of operations. In the role, Patraw will provide strategic leadership for Velosity teams located at multiple sites in Forest Lake, Brooklyn Park, and Becker, Minnesota, as well as oversee the company’s supply chain, procurement and facilities.

Patraw brings a lot of operations experience to the position, having led the operations team in Brooklyn Park for the past six years and accumulated 17 years of experience at Boston Scientific in various operational leadership roles. During his tenure at Boston Scientific, he played a pivotal role in executing the manufacturing strategy for a drug-eluting stent. His extensive background encompasses operations, continuous improvement, molding, design, technology transfers and collaborating with multi-site operations, both domestic and international.

In his capacity as vice president of operations, Rich is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational processes, implementing continuous improvement strategies, streamlining workflows and driving best practices throughout the organization.
