United Grinding announces the signing of an agreement with Georg Fischer AG to acquire its GF Machining Solutions (GFMS) division. Through this acquisition, United Grinding says it aims to strengthen its position in the market, expand its portfolio of products and serve its global customers with comprehensive solutions. Together, United Grinding and GFMS intend to establish a global presence in ultra-precision machining. The transaction is expected to close in Q1/Q2 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
