Kitamura Announces Northern Ohio Dealer and New VP of Sales

Kitamura Machinery has experienced some workforce developments, including naming Tipton Technologies as its Northern Ohio representative, and the hiring of Dave Lucius as vice president of Sales for the Americas.

It was recently reported that Pennsylvania-based company, Tipton Technologies, has been named the exclusive Kitamura Machinery (Wheeling, Illinois) representative in Northern Ohio.

According to Kitamura, Tipton Technologies is a newly established division of JBM Technologies (Hayesville, Ohio), a full-service machine tool distributor and current Kitamura dealer, that has represented the Kitamura product for more than 31 years. The Tipton team is said to have more than 50 years of sales and machine service experience, backed by JBM’s reputation and resource center. After installation, Tipton provides customers with training, custom turnkey applications, preventative maintenance programs, and free, industry-leading technical expertise over the phone in addition to what it considers as one of the largest parts warehouses in the Northeast.

Further, Kitamura Machinery has announced that Dave Lucius has joined the leadership team as vice president of Sales for the Americas.

According to Dr. Akihiro Kitamura president and CEO of Kitamura Machinery, Dave brings more than 20 years of manufacturing experience to Kitamura, as well as expertise and a proven growth track record in overseeing machine tool distribution networks and leading product development teams.

Lucius will work closely with Executive Vice President Ted Asano to accelerate Kitamura’s next stage of growth in the America’s, Canada and Mexico. “Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and fresh ideas to our Management team and we are delighted to have him on board,” Ted Asano, EVP, states.
