IMTS 2024: The Show Continues on IMTS+
AMT shares highlights from IMTS 2024, as well as its digital community, IMTS+, which features live content captured at the show.
The digital community of IMTS, IMTS+, features live content captured at the show to highlight the technology, the people, the IMTS+ Main Stage presentations, the thought leaders as well as the attractions.
The IMTS 2024 show featured 1,737 exhibitors (up 3%), 1,226,523- square-feet of show space (up 4%), 89,020 registrants (up 5% ), 14,713 registrants for the Smartforce Student Summit (up 25%), the strongest IMTS Conference (53% more registrants) and more stages.
“We know it is impossible for visitors to absorb all the content in the six days of IMTS, so we are continuing the show experience on IMTS+. Highlights include the actual content of 50 presentations from the IMTS+ Main Stage and 40 interviews from the IMTS+ Creators Lounge, starting with BlueForge Alliance, Google Cloud, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Microsoft, RFK Racing, Siemens USA and Strategic Submarines,” says Bonnie Gurney, vice president of strategic content and partnerships at AMT, which owns and produces IMTS.
The IMTS+ Main Stage featured six full days of programming. Videos from the stage are rolling out on IMTS+, followed by accompanying feature articles and highlights.
Featured venues at IMTS 2024 include:
- 14 events at the IMTS+ AfterWords Stage, where conversations from the IMTS+ Main Stage continued.
- 40 events on the Formnext Stage in the Additive Manufacturing Sector.
- 20+ events on the SPS – Smart Production Solutions Stage in the Automation Sector.
- Four IMTS+ Technology Hubs, one in each building, that respectively focused on automation, additive manufacturing, metal removal and digital manufacturing.
- 20+ events at the Smart Manufacturing Showcase covering digital technologies.
- The IMTS+ Creators Lounge with hosts Drew Crowe, Nikki Gonzales, Chris Luecke, Jim Mayer, Amy Seymour and Meaghan Ziemba.
- The Icons of Innovation exhibit featuring the Strati (the world’s first 3D printed car made at IMTS 2014), the Buildsubmarines.com NASCAR car and crowd-sourced Rally Fighter car (made at IMTS 2012).
“The mission of IMTS is to help manufacturers improve their business, and we facilitate that through education and networking. We see the need for even richer programming in the future, especially to help the manufacturing and digital communities grow together,” says Gurney.
