iD Additives, Inc. has named PCS Company of Fraser, Michigan, as its exclusive distributor to injection molders and moldmakers in the U.S.A. for its iD Eco-Pro 360 rust removal systems. The agreement is effective immediately.
iD Additives will continue to sell and market iD Eco-Pro 360 directly for other non-injection molding related rust removal applications including extrusion, blow molding, and non-plastics processes.
“We are very excited about this agreement,” said Nick Sotos, president of iD Additives. “PCS knows the benefits that iD Eco-Pro 360 can provide molders, they have a very strong sales network and are one of the leading suppliers to the injection molding industry in the USA.”
“We are pleased to be working with iD Additives,” said Paul Hauser, product manager at PCS. “Their iD Eco-Pro 360 is a great product and it fits the sustainability model that is so important to our industry and to the planet. We look forward to helping iD Additives expand its reach to plastics injection molders and moldmakers throughout the country.”
iD Eco-Pro 360 is a rust removal and preventative product that provides fast, eco-friendly rust removal on injection molds, blown film dies and other products. iD Eco-Pro 360 is a green, water-based, environmentally safe, EPA tested and verified product that is fast and highly effective method at removing rust. The product is non-hazardous, non-aerosol, and non-flammable. Benefits of the rust remover and preventative include removing mill oil, flash rust and white rust without etching; providing a protective coating for long-term rust protection; working on all ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces; cleans, coats and seals, preventing further oxidation; reducing labor, time and cost; and being made in the U.S.A. An added benefit of iD Eco-Pro 360 is that it is reusable. After filtering out any rust particles, all of the fluid used to clean a mold or other products can be re-used numerous times. It is available in four sizes: 16-ounce spray bottles, one gallon containers, five gallon containers and 55 gallon drums. The company has posted a video and frequently asked questions on iD Eco-Pro 360 on its website at www.idadditives.com.
The new iD Eco-Pro 360 Cart is a pump and filter combination unit. It removes, protects, and helps prevent rust within cooling passages, heat exchangers, and water lines. The built-in filter function allows the Eco-Pro 360 solution to remain at peak performance for optimal reusability. “This new product is ideal for cleaning rust out of hard-to-reach internal channels, such as water lines in an injection mold,” said Nick Sotos, president of iD Additives. “It is perfect for the maintenance departments of molding facilities.”
