Universal CMM is a key option to the new Verisurf 2018 software as it insures software compatibility with virtually all CNC coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). All CMMs, including previously closed legacy systems, are now open to Verisurf users.
RobbJack says that the DM/MDM die/mold carbide end mill offers tighter tolerances, lasts longer in difficult areas like parting lines and produces better finishes that reduce or eliminate the need for polishing.
Westminster Tool Inc. recently designed and built a new and progressive, single-cavity unscrewing medical mold that uses a servo-driven motor for a customer’s medical device.
The VeriShot SVG system from Mastip Technology sports a compact design, reduces mold height requirements and doubles as a locating ring housing the mechanics, which the company says ensures alignment between mold and machine platens.
A clamping system from FCS has a dedicated internal channel for the swarf evacuation and the locking control, and it is capable of adapting to the workpiece.
