Yes, that might sound sentimental, but after more than 25 years in this industry, I can honestly say that my work here has been a privilege and a joy, largely because of you. Your stories, your challenges, your triumphs—all of it has shaped not only MoldMaking Technology but also my own perspective.
From the pages of our magazine to the digital and social media content to the networking and knowledge-sharing at Amerimold, MoldMaking Conferences, PTXPO and other industry events, I’ve had the honor of witnessing the grit, resilience and creativity that define this industry. Your passion and drive through good times and tough times inspire me. They remind me to work harder, dig deeper and serve better. The opportunity to capture your innovations and insights on moldmaking technology, craftsmanship and business strategy isn’t just a job—it’s a gift. And for that, I am profoundly grateful.
MoldMaking Technology was founded 26 years ago to serve a corner of
manufacturing that deserved to be seen and heard. Since then, this community has proven time and again that moldmakers are true artisans, engineers and problem solvers. With the experience, knowledge and support of so many talented individuals, we have created a shared space to celebrate advancements, tackle challenges and cultivate lasting connections.
Today, I’m thankful for your support, your trust and your contributions to this industry that we all hold dear. You’ve allowed us to tell your stories, explore your innovations and bring attention to the craftsmanship and technical excellence at the heart of mold manufacturing. If you have a new idea or challenge you’d like to see covered, know that my door is always open.
As those in the U.S. sit down to feast, take a moment to appreciate the community that’s grown around you, whether family, friends or colleagues. Each of you is part of a legacy of excellence, hard work and dedication. Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to serve and grow with this remarkable community.
