The Society of Plastics Engineers Inc. (SPE) Mold Technologies Division is seeking nominees for the Mold Maker and Mold Designer of the Year 2022. Following a two-year COVID-induced hiatus, the trade organization will present the awards during PTXPO, occurring March 29-31, 2022 in Rosemont, Illinois.
Nominees for the award do not need to be active SPE members. Nomination requirements do include:
- Made a lasting contribution to the industry or the SPE.
- Demonstrated strong technical expertise.
- Have a reputation for conducting business in a fair and honest manner.
Recipients will join the ranks of Glenn Beall (Glenn Beall Plastics), Ivar T. Quarnstrom (DME Company), Glenn Starkey (Progressive Components) Norbert Stengel (Northwestern Tool and Die Mfg) and many others known for their contributions to the industry.
For consideration, the nomination must be submitted Feb. 15, 2022 before end of business day EST.
Nominations should submit:
- The name, address, email and telephone number of (1) the nominee and (2) the person making the nomination.
- A business biography (1-2 pages) highlighting the contributions to (1) the SPE (2) OR, the Mold Making and Mold Design Industry (3) OR the SPE in general.
