Medical Injection Molding Workshop at Amerimold Program Announced!

Molding and moldmaking are tied very closely together, which is evident in the coverage MoldMaking Technology has given to processing issues and solutions as well as the continued growth of OEMs, molders and mold builders attending and exhibiting at Amerimold. So, this year we added a special Medical Injection Molding Workshop for those interested in diving a little deeper into technology and trends in medical molding.

Materials Selection and Evaluation for Medical Devices
Len Czuba, President, Czuba Enterprises, Inc.
How to take on the challenge of selecting the right materials for an implantable medical device. As with most materials used in medical devices, the end use application dictates the selection of the material, and that is in turn impacted by the method of processing the component.

What If We Could Cut Process Validation Time in Half?
Erik Sherburne, Quality Manager, Advanced Molding Technologies
In this presentation, we will discuss techniques and review case studies we have used to reduce the process validation timeline: CT Scanning for metrology, thorough DFM/DFR review and leveraging statistics, data and software to offset traditional validation methods. ?
