AMBA Plant Tour Comes to Amerimold
MoldMaking Technology’s May issue has a story about Quest Industries and its unique approach to scheduling to accurately predict mold deliveries. But what makes this story extra special is that Quest has agreed to open its doors for an AMBA plant tour during Amerimold.
The American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) is bringing its popular plant tour workshop to Amerimold as it welcomes mold-building facilities to sign up for a visit to Quest Industries on June 12th in Lapeer, Michigan.
Mold-building facilities can register for the tour here.
Quest Industries has evolved as a leader in innovation and technology since 2001. With its roots in detailed machined parts and expertise in high-end molds, Quest is able to showcase a large amount of firepower when it comes to diverse, complex jobs. Precision horizontal CNC machines, EDM and electrode cutting centers and precision CNC turning machines all contribute to efficiency and quick turnarounds on highly involved projects.
Also, through the implementation of new processes and mindsets, Quest has achieved significant impact in the areas of communication and workflow in every division of its organization. Starting upfront with ERP, Quest has re-written the standard by expanding the range of information conveyed through technology. By increasing communication from key members, upfront information is better and flows downstream to the shop floor where the implemented changes become apparent.
This is the focus of MMT’s article on Quest, titled ERP System Plans Backward to Predict Accurate Delivery Quest has come a long way with its ERP implementation. The company is getting more done in less time and its quality has improved. However, ironically, they don’t feel like they are as busy as before because the firefighting has diminished. They have become a forward-thinking company.
Quest Industries has redefined workflow management and blown the ceiling on efficiency!
