Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems Make Short Work of Cleaning Molds
Blue Wave’s ultrasonic cleaning systems eliminate 50-80% of the labor and 100% of the hazardous airborne solvents and damaging abrasives required to manually clean tools.
Blue Wave Ultrasonics, a supplier of heavy-duty ultrasonic cleaning systems and water based detergents to the plastic molding industry, will demonstrate how a quality ultrasonic cleaning system can provide significant time and cost savings over other cleaning methods during Amerimold.
Blue Wave’s unique technology creates powerful microscopic scrubbing bubbles that, when combined with its water-based detergent formulations, effectively removes outgassing residues from even the most intricate areas, as well as grease, rust and scale in water lines. Cleaning process times typically fall within 10 to 30 minutes depending on level of contamination.
The company says ultrasonic cleaning systems eliminate 50-80% of the labor and 100% of the hazardous airborne solvents and damaging abrasives required to manually clean tools, all while cleaning recessed, blind areas and water lines that manual cleaning cannot reach. In-house testing is offered free of charge, or the company will bring demonstration units to verify process and ROI onsite at customer plants.
Blue Wave is also proud to be part of Tool Shop Live at Amerimold. Tool Shop Live is designed to give practical, real world solutions that improve the performance and provide significant cost savings to the tool room.
