Nozzle Series Offers Material Flexibility for Moldmakers
MD&M West 2025: Technoject Machinery Corp. is highlighting its Primo Line Nozzle Series. The series features a good price to technology performance alongside short delivery times.
Heitec Heisskanaltechnik from Burgwald, Germany, available in North America from Technoject Machinery Corp., is highlighting its Primo Line Nozzle Series. The series features a good price to technology performance alongside short delivery times.
As the requirements for processing technical resins increase, the designs of hot runner nozzles need to be optimized further. This is especially important in the medical device industry, where demanding applications require both technical performance and competitive pricing.
In the past, low-cost hot runner nozzles often didn’t provide the more advanced technical features to handle engineering resins such as Polycarbonate or PEEK. The new Primo Line nozzle can process easy commodity resins and the more demanding engineering resins successfully, utilizing the same nozzle design.
The desired thermal conditions of a hot runner system are identical for all thermoplastics. They include optimal temperature control in the system and optimal thermal separation in the contact area. The Primo Line offers these advantages in various sizes.
While nozzle lengths are available in 50, 60, 80, 100 and 120 mm, the melt channels are available in 3, 5 and 6 mm for the hot tip version and 5 and 6 mm for the valve gate version. The nozzle is well suited for high-volume production environments with all replaceable components. This ensures minimum downtime during maintenance.
