Accede Mold & Tool Co. Inc. is an independent and privately owned injection mold builder in Rochester, New York that is ITAR-registerd and ISO9001:2015-certified. Accede goes beyond traditional mold building, specializing in complex and precision state-of-the-art moldmaking for the medical, consumer packaging, industrial, automotive and defense industries. The company leverages its knowledge gained from more than 40 years of cross-industry experience to develop value-added solutions that meet its customer’s most demanding challenges — from research and development pilot tooling through full turnkey system integrations.

Core competencies include high-cavitation molds, stack molds, and two-shot solutions, including conventional rotary molds, in-mold rotary molds, lift-and-rotate molds, core-back molds and SpinStack cube mold systems.

In-house capabilities include design and manufacturing engineering, and advanced manufacturing — CNC milling, CNC turning, conventional and wire EDM, grinding and polishing and CMM inspection. Accede’s in-house sampling lab is versatile and well-equipped with presses ranging from 120-720 tons, including multi-shot and cleanroom capabilities. The company’s Systems Integration Center has more than 15,000 square feet available for turnkey programs.

In 2020, Accede instituted its “Remote Mold Validation Process,” where customers can participate and collaborate on their mold qualifications via web conferencing. The virtual sample provides customers with optimal experience, bringing more value than traditional in-person mold qualifications. “Today’s customer is spread way too thin to spend days on-site qualifying a mold that could be performed virtually, and our job is to make that experience seamless, efficient, detailed and effective,” Roger Fox, Accede president and owner, explains.

Accede’s team believes its mold concept innovations, commitment to quality, manufacturing experience and full-service global support sets them apart from other mold builders, foreign or domestic. Accede understands that the job is not finished until its customers’ needs are met.
