Heidenhain’s multimedia online CNC controls learning program, HIT 3.0, is now available.
Heidenhain’s multimedia online CNC controls learning program called HIT 3.0 is now available. HIT provides advanced and apprentice-level skilled training for NC users utilizing Heidenhain TNC protocols.
The Milling: Three-axis Machining learning packet serves as an introduction to the NC programming of controls and is equally suitable for both self-learning and classroom instruction. It consists of the following modules:
- HIT Learning Software: The multimedia software explains all of the necessary control functions and does so by using media such as videos, animations and interactions. Learning progress is checked by means of timed test.
- HIT Guidebook: The guidebook serves as a guide to the learning software, as a summary of the programming-relevant content and as a reference work after completion of the learning package. The guidebook is available as a free PDF file that can be downloaded in the learning platform.
- Programming Station: This is the PC version of the machine tool control. With the free demo version of the Programming Station, all of the HIT programming exercises can be worked through and graphically simulated.
- Learning Platform: The platform is based on the Moodle learning platform, which is widely used in schools and universities. Licenses are granted and, in particular, managed over the learning program.
