The co-located plastics events of Amerimold, the Extrusion Conference and Molding Conference, all of which take place on September 21-23, 2021 in Rosemont, Illinois, have announced their confidence and excitement in the surging North American plastics market.
According to recent reports from Gardner Intelligence, the mold manufacturing market is booming, with notable increases in new orders and production across the continent. In fact, the May edition of the Gardner Business Index: Moldmaking registered at 62.3, its highest level ever recorded. In addition to favorable market news, Illinois’ Governor J.B. Pritzker announced that Illinois is transitioning into Phase 5 of their ‘Restore Illinois’ plan, which lifts all restrictions on gathering size, clearing the way for a thriving set of shows in September.
“We’re thrilled that the COVID-19 numbers in Illinois have steadily decreased and that Governor Pritzker has continued to move the state forward in their ‘Restore Illinois’ plan,” says Ryan Delahanty, publisher of MoldMaking Technology and Plastics Technology magazines and executive vice president of Sales at Gardner Business Media. “The mold manufacturing and plastics markets are hotter than ever right now, so we’re excited to be giving the industry the shows it needs at the exact right time.”
Registration for all three events is currently open (register here). Each show offers an expanded three-day schedule of educational sessions, networking opportunities and access to exhibitors from across the plastics manufacturing supply chain. Amerimold is currently free to attend if you register during their Early Bird Period, which ends on August 20, 2021. As a special benefit, registrants of the Molding and Extrusion Conferences will gain free admission to all co-located events (Extrusion 2021, Molding 2021 and Amerimold), ensuring the most robust and diverse attendee pool in the show’s history.
