Westminster Tool’s talent development system has allowed them to create a backlog of new candidates, during a nationwide workforce shortage. The Westminster Tool process attracts the right people during the hiring process and gives employees the tools to improve proficiency of self and develop their careers within the organization. Through this, the Westminster Tool team has transformed from a group of inexperienced enthusiastic employees to a high-performing team. Kylee Carbone
Kylee Carbone joined Westminster Tool in 2011 as a marketing intern where she quickly discovered her passion for talent development and manufacturing. While Kylee wears many hats at Westminster Tool, her current role is focused on helping all employees to recognize and reach their greatest potential through utilizing Westminster Academy, a self-grown digital apprenticeship program, and working with employees to develop individual growth plans. Kylee’s passion stretches well beyond Westminster Tool and she has been recognized by the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce with a “40 under 40” award and by the American Mold Builders Association as an Educational Outreach Champion in 2017.
