Is the theme of this year's AMBA Annual Convention, and according to the organizers it is set to challenge attendees to step out of the box and look at their mold building operations from fresh new angles. Early Bird Registration for the 2013 AMBA Annual Convention, April 24-26, at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center, Schaumburg, IL, ends on March 25, 2013.
According to AMBA Executive Director Troy Nix, “Last year’s convention in Grand Rapids drew record attendance as mold building professionals gathered from across the country to share best practices and learn ways to improve the profitability of their moldmaking operations.” This year’s convention will provide all that and more. From peer-to peer exchange forums, plant tour workshops and dynamic sales and marketing strategies to the latest industry data and metrics from the AMBA 2013 Benchmarking Initiative, attendees will leave energized and motivated to implement change.
Highlights of the 2013 AMBA Convention include a dynamic keynote presentation from Jack Daly on “Building a High-Performance Sales and Sales Management Culture”. Dr. Chris Kuehl with Armada Corporation Intelligence will present his 2013 economic outlook and Laurie Harbour, Harbour Results, Inc., will present “Best-in-Class Mold Building Strategies: an Inside Look” based on more than 150 tool manufacturing assessments over the last two years. New this year, electric Ignite Presentations, where industry peers openly share what they have done to improve their own businesses in short, five-minute sessions, will bring thoughts, ideas and implementable solutions directly to attendees.
