In celebration of Manufacturing Day, Hoffer Plastics has issued an open invitation to members of the media to visit its facility on or before October 1, 2021.

Hoffer Plastics is inviting journalists to tour the facility and learn about how plastic injection molding works, the jobs available at Hoffer and growing opportunities within the manufacturing industry. Journalists will also have the opportunity to meet with company leaders and employees to discuss its growing operation in South Elgin, Illinois.

Hoffer Plastics is reportedly one of the largest plastic injection molding manufacturers in northern Illinois. It currently employs 350 people and is expecting to grow in the coming years. The company says it produces over three billion plastic parts annually.

According to the company, many groups lack education about the manufacturing field, its expected growth and increased demand for labor. Hoffer Plastics hopes to raise awareness through its invitation by providing information for the current and future workforce. The company also hopes to engage various groups, including industry leaders, to assist them in raising awareness for the manufacturing industry.
