Heidenhain Corporation will host a virtual five-axis workshop on Thursday, April 30 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Attendees can learn how to take advantage of the latest development in CNC controls, CAM technology and cutting tool selection to help master the process chain the most efficient way.
The workshop will demonstrate how to save up to 90% on finishing cuts, while maintaining desired surface quality. Heidenhain will explain in engaging presentations and live machine demonstrations how attendees can improve their manufacturing processes by optimizing process change from CAD-model to finish part down to lot size one. Innovations in CAM-strategies from hyperMill Maxx machining and the innovative barrel cutters from Fraisa will be demonstrated on a Grob G352 five-axis machining center with the latest CNC and motion control from Heidenhain.
The workshop agenda not only includes a welcome and introduction, but topics ranging from programming of roughing strategies in hyperMill Maxx machining to multifunctional high-performance cutters for roughing and finishing, dynamic efficiency and dynamic precision motion control features for five-axis applications, live machining video utilizing previously discussed technology, presentation of Grob including the manufacturing facility in Blufton, OH, as well as a live Q&A session with the experts.
