Hasco Hosts Successful Designer Days 2022 Event
Held at Inmold Plast’s location in Serbia at the beginning of February, the hybrid event brought together mold designers and a range of specialists to exchange information on trends and marketing developments.

Hasco announces that at the beginning of February it successfully held its annual Designer Days event at Inmold Plast—a European producer of thin-walled plastic packaging and technical components—in Pozega, Serbia. For several years, Designer Days has enabled the coming together of moldmaking designers to exchange ideas and information on trends and market developments in the industry, as well as optimizing and digitizing the design process workflow.
The 2022 hybrid event attracted more than 50 people. On site, in addition to the designers and project managers of Inmold Plastic, the sales teams from Hasco’s Mould Base and Hot Runner divisions were also present. From Hasco’s Lüdenscheid/Germany and Guntramsdorf/Austria sites, the respective specialists from product development and applications technology and those involved with CAD data were connected online, enabling them to participate by virtual means.
After a short round of welcomes and a division of the participants into two focus groups, the event began the discussion of a diverse range of topics. One group discussed two-stage demolding, where several experienced mold designers highlighted a number of interesting new products, illustrating the efficiency benefits with the aid of practical application examples. The other group was given insight into the world of native CAD data, discussing the parametric design of data and how the supplied installation spaces speed up the design process, which subsequently leads to shorter times to market.
In addition, product specialists competently answered numerous questions about standardized quality standards and individual hot runner solutions. To conclude the day, participants were also given an exclusive insight into some upcoming innovations.
