German Tool and MoldMaking Association VDWF Presents the “Road of Tooling Innovation” Program
“Road of Tooling Innovation” is a three-day series offered online to all users beginning tomorrow, Oct. 27, where selected toolmakers and manufacturers will present some of their recent collaborations.

German tool and moldmaking association Verband Deutscher Werkzeug- und Formenbauer (VDWF, Schwendi) and a partner to the Moulding Expo in Stuttgart, is inviting the industry to attend its online “Road of Tooling Innovation” (ROTI) program which begins tomorrow, Oct. 27, 2021. Typically presented in person at the Moulding Expo, the three-part series in English shows state-of-the-art mold concepts from selected international moldmakers in action together with renowned injection molding machine manufacturers.
Lectured by Ralf Dürrwächter, managing director of the VDWF, and lecturer for “Marketing in Toolmaking” at the University of Applied Sciences in Schmalkalden, Germany, ROTI offers three themed days on Oct. 27, Nov. 17 and Dec. 1:
- Oct. 27: Presented by Haidlmair GmbH: “Innovation project 6DC –performance, design and functionality” and Hoffman: “BEAD Machine –lightweight construction redefined.”
- Nov. 17: Presented by Deckerform-Unternehmensgruppe/Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG: “Green circle of manufacturing” and Georg Kaufmann Formenbau AG/Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG: “Next Level foil decoration: IMD Varioform & functional foil bonding meets in-mold wrapping.”
- Dec. 1: Presented by Zahoransky Automation & Molds GmbH: “ One stop shopping solution – from the granulate to the finished product
on the example of stacked needle syringe COC/COP” and Braunform GmbH: “RotaricE – Servo technology, clean and precise. Example 2C with small part weight.”
