On April 18th and 19th the MoldMaking Expo—presented by MoldMaking Technology magazine—will return to Rosemont, IL, for its ninth year. This year’s exhibition, conference and networking events are specifically targeting you, the mold manufacturer to help you prepare to compete in tomorrow’s moldmaking market … this is your industry, your show and your future.

Included in the more than 25,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center—dedicated to showcasing the latest moldmaking technologies, equipment, products and services to help you improve your moldmaking opera-tions, we are introducing our first-ever North American MoldMakers' Pavilion, where shops will be setting up shop, outside the shop.

This year our technical conference program will feature two keynote breakfast sessions, three panel discussions, four case study lectures, two lunchtime lesson seminars, two half-day workshops, and an additional 20+ seminars within two full days on topics ranging from how to protect your intellectual property in China and how to secure revenue streams to five-axis machining strategies and conformal cooling solutions.

Networking opportunities include our casino party/networking reception on the evening of Wednesday, April 18th, which will include our fifth annual Leadtime Leader Awards Ceremony … and the winners are: Large Shop Winner, Chicago Mold Engineering; Small Shop Winner, Tech Tool & Mold; Large Shop Honorable Mention, Synergetic M2M; and, Small Shop Honorable Mention, M&M Tool.

Each company will also participate in our free Lunchtime Lesson: Leadtime Leader Panel Discussion on the exhibit floor from noon to 1pm on Thursday, April 19th to share their success stories and lessons learned. See Tech Tool & Mold, Inc.:
Strength and Flexibility for a profile of this year’s Small Shop Winner. The March and April issues will profile our large and small shop honorable mentions.
