Ejector Portfolio Expansion Takes on Demolding Challenges
A number of ejector pins, sleeves and flat injectors, as well as an online ejector configurator have been added by Hasco for the functional demolding of molded parts.
A large number of ejector pins, sleeves and flat ejectors have been added to the extensive Hasco America product portfolio of ejectors for the functional demolding of molded parts from injection, compression and die-casting tools.
With more than 600 new, additional versions, Hasco says it offers its customers maximum flexibility and thus enables the individual selection of the right item for every application.
Specifically, company’s standard range of through-hardened or nitrided ejectors with a conical head or as a stepped variant, with or without DLC coating, has been supplemented over the years with a number of innovative products.
The anti-twist Z410 ejector pins, for example, enable precise centering of individually contoured ejector or core pins in the tool. The Z4656 and Z4655 flat ejectors with two or four corner radii are primarily used in structurally critical areas of injection molds such as ribs or webs. With the hardened and nitrated Z458 ejector sleeves, Hasco notes that complicated parts can be safely and functionally ejected. Particularly for especially long ejector strokes, the ejector sleeves Z4501 in all available sizes features a longer guide bore of 100 mm.
Additional innovations include ejector pins Z401 with ventilation surfaces, which enable improved tool performance, and DLC-coated ejector pins Z4430 made of hardened HSS for high heat resistance, making them particularly suitable for high mold temperatures and, thanks to Hasco’s dry-running properties, for use in cleanrooms.
Moreover, with Hasco’s user-friendly ejector configurator, the company enables its customers to easily configure individually cut ejectors online in four tolerance levels from 0/+2 to ±0.01 mm that are tried and tested in moldmaking. The length is defined with just a few clicks, and delivery time and price are immediately visible. As a flexibly designed tool, the ejector configurator simplifies and speeds up the ordering process. Short delivery times guarantee maximum efficiency and safety throughout the entire production process.
