New App for Moldmakers Adds Functions, Part Scanner

Hasco says its new, free app provides practical information on the subject of moldmaking. Core functions included in the Toolbox include material selection; hardness value conversion; DIN/ISO tolerances for shafts and holes; tool for the layout and dimensioning of locking cylinders; thread tool for recognizing pitch as well as external, core and flank diameters; cutting data calculator for determining relevant milling data; heating cartridge calculator for determining required heating power; and thermal insulation plate calculator for calculating the surface temperature.
In addition, it features a NFC (near-field communication) scan for reliable identification of original Hasco products.
