voestalpine High Performance Metals Corp. announces the opening of their newest Steel Store in Cleveland, Tennessee, 30 minutes north of Chattanooga on Interstate 75. The Steel Store specializes in providing tool steels for customers’ tool, die and moldmaking needs. The store aims to supply unparalleled service and fast deliveries. The new facility is strategically located to provide tool steel solutions and delivery service to the manufacturing communities located in the South Eastern United States.
This announcement and facility opening follows closely on the heels of the company’s announcement of the opening of their coatings facility in Tennessee in July, which is co-located with the steel store and shows the company’s ongoing commitment to customer centric investments strategically located across the United States. According to the company, the coatings facility increases local presence and service offerings to customers.
In addition to the stocks of tool steels, the Cleveland facility is equipped with state of the art physical vapor deposition (PVD) arc coating systems technology. This location will feature Duplex coatings including Crosal Plus, Tigral and Variantic, ideally suited for a variety of applications ranging from metalforming to die-casting, hot stamping and plastic injection molding. The new facility launch represents a new era for voestalpine with an expansion to the south west to complement existing facilities across the United States.
