DMS North America (Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada) announced that it has purchased Component Guys (Windsor, Ontario, Canada), a global provider of high quality, custom and standard mold components and tooling supplies, effective March 1, 2021. The acquisition will reportedly reunite former and present quality DMS team members. This move will also provide DMS North American customers with increased inventory capacity, innovative product offerings and service/support levels. Both companies will operate independently during a brief transition period that is to be determined.

According to DMS, most industry forecasts predict that the Mold & Die sector is moving into a strong growth position. This acquisition will enable DMS to be in a stronger position to better supply this industry growth.

DMS says it appreciates and thanks all customers, suppliers and industry associates for their ongoing relationships and support.
