William G. Howard, Jr. is a product line manager for vertical machining centers at Makino. He holds degrees from Penn State University and the University of Cincinnati in mechanical engineering and holds an MBA from Xavier University. He has 48 years of experience with machine tools and capital equipment, including at Makino, LeBlond Makino, Cincinnati Milacron and Proctor & Gamble. William is an associate member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He is also a published author, with his book "High-Speed, Hard-Milling Solutions" published by Hanser Gardner Publications.
