MMT Headed to Mexico

I’m headed to Mexico in about six weeks to learn about the growing demand for molds, tools and dies in this country as well as the local companies with increasing capacity and technology to produce them.

The mold, tool and die sector in Mexico has a promising future and offers a window of opportunity for those metalworking workshops that seek to take more advantage of their installed capacity and target new markets. This is the perspective of MMT’s sister brand in Mexico who is launching a new trade show: Meximold.

This premier event is taking place on November 20 to 21 at the Congress Center of Querétaro and is organized by Gardner Business Media and the Asociación Mexicana de Fabricación de Moldes y Matrices – AMMMT (Mexican Association of Manufacture of Molds and Dies) and includes a conference focused on additive manufacturing, moldmaking and injection molding; exhibits from more than 100 global companies showcasing technology solutions from design to first shot, and a B2B business meeting involving 60 buyers from the automotive and aerospace sectors for those engaged in the manufacture of plastic injection molds in Mexico.

Check out show details here, and if you decide to make the trip to Mexico to see things for yourself, connect with me beforehand and we can set up a time to meet.
