With products that boast results including up to 300 percent improved tool life; an increase in productivity; excellent rancidity control; greatly reduced concentrate usage; and operator-friendly use, CIMCOOL Fluid Technology (Cincinnati, OH) offers some of the most technologically-advanced fluids.
CIMTECH® synthetic products improve both machining and grinding applications without using mineral oil. Pioneering research and extensive testing mean that CIMTECH products provide clean, low foaming, synthetic metalworking fluids resulting in enhanced machine performance and product quality. The CIMTECH family of products provides superior results on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in both heavy- and light-duty grinding and machining operations, and is formulated to reject tramp oil while providing a transparent fluid.
CIMTECH 610®, proven to be an exceptional product for milling and drilling aluminum alloy material, features a hybrid blend of patented and synthetic lubricants and provides synergistic performance on difficult-to-machine ferrous and non-ferrous alloys without corrosion or stain. The product is uniquely formulated to be used on hard, brittle metals that “ordinary” fluids have difficulties with, such as inconel, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum alloys and hardened steel. CIMTECH 610 offers excellent heavy-duty performance without chlorine, sulfur or phosphorus EP lubricants; a near neutral pH; good corrosion control on ferrous metals and non-staining to aluminum and other exotic alloys. It works best in tough operations, is low-foaming, and provides good part visibility for operators.
CIMTECH 310®, a low-pH synthetic fluid that passes all bi-metallic and aluminum (7075) “sandwich” corrosion tests, has become the standard metalworking fluid for many manufacturers, including Aerospace manufacturers. CIMTECH 310 is recommended for machining and grinding operations, including creep feed grinding on non-ferrous or ferrous metals. Designed for moderate- to heavy-duty operations, CIMTECH 310 is low-foaming and provides excellent rancidity control, extending the life of the fluid and minimizing the need for additives. In addition, CIMTECH 310 offers unmatched lubricity providing long tool life and outstanding surface finish; it is transparent, offering the machine operator uninhibited part visibility; and is non-irritating to the skin.
CIMSTAR® products include a broad range of general machining and grinding fluids which are recommended for ferrous and many non-ferrous metals in general purpose and medium- to heavy-duty operations. CIMSTAR fluids typically contain a low to moderate amount of mineral oil and are semi-transparent when mixed with water. This product family is especially useful in applications that require long fluid life and cleanliness.
CIMPERIAL® products are designed for heavy-duty machining and grinding on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. CIMPERIAL soluble oils offer long fluid life, corrosion protection, high lubricity, low foaming characteristics and excellent rancidity control. CIMPERIAL METALWORKING FLUIDS are machine friendly and engineered to save money on storage, handling, mixing, charging, makeup and maintenance costs. Many CIMPERIAL fluids contain extreme pressure additives that enhance machining and grinding performance capabilities in the most difficult applications.
MILFORM® and MILDRAW® products include a wide range of proven stamping and drawing fluids offering proven lubricity, superior cooling and excellent corrosion control while making part cleaning easy and efficient. MILFORM and MILDRAW water-soluble products are available for metalforming applications, ranging from light-duty stamping to heavy-duty drawing, and are appropriate for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals with exceptional results in synthetic, soluble oil and straight oil applications. Clean-operating synthetics are offered for light- to heavy-duty operations. The MILDRAW family offers economical semi-synthetics as an alternative to straight oils in heavy-duty work.
MILPRO® products, recommended for cutting and grinding operations as well as metal removal, offer the highest quality combination of mineral oils and additives. MILPRO oils are formulated with a unique lubrication package which promotes increased production and reduction in tool and grinding wheel usage. In addition, MILPRO offers exceptional corrosion control so as not to stain aluminum or “lower” grades of steel. For specific honing operations which require a lower viscosity, MILHONE® oils are the product of choice. The adaptability of both MILPRO and MILHONE products enables them to work in a variety of applications, including honing cast iron or steel, light stamping, grinding drill flutes, moderate-duty grinding, heavy-duty broaching, and gear cutting.
CIMCOOL’s QUANTALUBE® water-soluble fluids are formulated to transform grinding and machining lubricity. This line of products contains a patented “super-lubricant” that bridges the gap in physical lubricity between straight oils and water-based products. It is proven to outperform conventional soluble oils and can replace straight oils. QUANTALUBE products offer many metalworking process advantages including reduced cycle time, longer wheel life, decreased machine horsepower and improved part finish. This product is proven to provide higher part quality, lower wheel and tool usage and reduce cost by increasing productivity.
