Sodick Celebrates the Grand Opening of its North American Headquarters
Grand Opening for VIP’s with a Japanese flair showcases Sodick’s new machining and 3D printing technologies.
Sodick USA hosted VIP guests at the grand opening of its new North American headquarters located at 601 Commerce Drive in Schaumburg, Illinois, on Tuesday. Schaumburg Mayor Al Larson was on hand to officially welcome the company to town, and guests were treated to a traditional Japanese sake ceremony as well as sushi luncheon and tour.
Featured during the grand opening was the company’s new OPM350L Metal 3D Printer, an advanced version of the OPM250L in that it can accommodate larger workpieces and it also has a new Automatic Material Feeding system that enables moldmakers to run the unit unattended for days, if needed, without having to refill materials.
