Reshoring Award Applications Are Open
The Reshoring Initiative will recognize companies for successful reshoring projects.

The Reshoring Initiative, in conjunction with the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), the AMT – Association for Manufacturing Technology, and theNational Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA), will recognize companies for successful reshoring projects. OEMs, molders and mold builders who have reshored their mold sourcing are encouraged to participate in the National Metalworking Reshoring Award competition. The second National Reshoring Award will recognize the top case of reshoring in the production of products, parts or tooling made primarily by metal forming, fabricating or machining, including additive manufacturing. The Reshoring Initiative will announce the award winner on March 8, 2019, at the MFG Meeting in Tucson, Arizona, organized by AMT and NTMA. Review award details and apply today here.
Requirements for eligibility include:
- Reshoring work much have occurred between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2018
- Work came back from outside North America to inside North America.
- Products, parts or tooling reshored must be made primarily by forming, casting, fabricating or machining, including additive manufacturing.
- Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2019.
