Moulding Expo, the international trade fair for tool, pattern and moldmaking has canceled its June 2021 event, and is rescheduled to take place at Messe Stuttgart (Germany) June 13-16, 2023.

Messe Stuggart organizers report that since the last Minister-President Conference did not open up any prospects for the trade fair industry, the 2021 date was no longer realistic. Further, in addition to continued risk with the pandemic, the trade fair advisory board, whose members include exhibitors such as DMG Mori (Nagoya, Japan), Meusburger (Wolfurt, Austria) and Deckerform (Aichach, Germany, along with the professional and promotional supporters, including the Federal Association of Pattern and Mould Making (BVMF), the VDMA Precision Tools Association, the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW) and the German Association of Tool and Mould Makers (VDWF), felt compelled to postpone the event.

Instead, organizers expect to stage a virtual Innovation Day on June 10, 2021, to implement excitement toward Moulding Expo 2023. The objective is to make the highlights from the program originally planned for in-person, internationally accessible at no cost despite the cancellation of the physical trade fair. This virtual Innovation Day is being organized in agreement with and through the support of the trade fair partners. Further information and a detailed program will be published shortly.
