Incoe Celebrates Its New Global Headquarters
Hot runner supplier hosts open house in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Incoe Corporation welcomed hundreds of customers, colleagues and friends on June 6 to celebrate the grand opening of its new North American headquarters located at at 2850 High Meadow Circle in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In addition to good food and libations, the 100% family-owned company also conducted tours of the custom-built, 138,000-square-foot facility.
Incoe designed the building to be more efficient operationally, with the 85,000-square-foot manufacturing area designed around a central space containing the company’s Quality Control, Inventory Management and shop offices to maximize process flow. Dependent manufacturing processes were in turn situated next to each other to streamline moving products through the facility.
The facility also includes a showroom and on-site training accommodations, including classroom and hands-on, free for Incoe customers. Incoe partners for lab training and experimentation, which include RJG Inc., Progressive Components, Krauss-Maffei, Beaumont Technologies, MoldSmart and RocTool, also have access to the training spaces for their own purposes, according to Jim Bott, business development manager. In addition, there is a 2,400-square-foot molding facility, featuring three Krauss-Maffei injection molding machines, that is used by Incoe and its partners for training and seminars.
For employees, the building is very modern, open and bright, with large windows and improved lighting. There is a fitness center, several bistros, and outdoor patio and plenty of meeting spaces to hold meetings or just relax.
The building was completed in 2018, in time for Incoe’s 60th anniversary, with the public celebration, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, held this year.
