Emuge-Franken USA announces it’s opening its doors and inviting the manufacturing community inside to gain real-world exposure to advanced machining and tool manufacturing at its Manufacturing Month event on Friday, Oct. 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Emuge-Franken U.S.A’s headquarters, located at 1800 Century Drive, West Boylston, Massachusetts. The event includes a dialog with special guest, Mr. Kenny Urban, machine shop supervisor for Meyer Tool & Manufacturing as well as social media influencer.

October is recognized as Manufacturing Month, where thousands of manufacturers across North America participate in a manufacturing event to educate millions about modern manufacturing and generate interest in the manufacturing trades (such as moldmaking) in order to build a stronger, skilled workforce.

From 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., attendees have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and witness a guided tour of the Emuge-Franken facility, including a behind the scenes look at how high-precision cutting tools are made, as well as how these tools are used to manufacture products that impact everyday life, including critical aerospace, defense, medical and automotive parts. The company is showcasing live machining demos, enabling attendees to see CNC machines in action.

During the Pizza Lunch & Learn from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., attendees can enjoy lunch and participate in a Q&A session with Kenny Urban, who will be sharing details about his journey in machining, tips for success and career advice for future machinists.

All members of the manufacturing community are welcome to attend, including students eager to explore the manufacturing world, trade school representatives and anyone curious about advanced manufacturing in the U.S.A.

On-site parking is available for all attendees.
