MoldMaking Technology Editorial Director Christina Fuges explains the brand’s reorganized and redesigned website.
You’ve had some time to experience MoldMaking Technology’s reorganized and redesigned website, so now it’s your turn to share what you like best.
We took these steps to improve our website to streamline your search for solutions and to highlight the most-viewed content types and topics so that you can browse and digest content more easily and quickly. We also want to push the content that we believe you need to remain competitive and to continue growing.
Since March of this year, you have probably spent a lot more of your time online with digital and social content in the absence of our industry’s traditional in-person educational and networking events, so we decided it was a good idea to step up our online game to serve you better. We know that your time is precious, especially as we continue to navigate the digital world amidst the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
We also know that you have plenty of options for content, but we want MMT online to be your number one resource when it comes to your moldmaking questions and challenges. We have been producing targeted content since 1998. Despite the method of content delivery changing and increasing over the years, we remain committed to being that source for our moldmaking community!
As you use moldmakingtechology.com, take note of the various features and functions that are there to help you find what you need faster and to engage with the content and community better.
As you use moldmakingtechology.com, take note of the various features and functions that are there to help you find what you need faster and to engage with the content and community better. For starters, we’ve simplified the navigation at the top of the home page by highlighting MMT’s four major areas (Engineer, Build, Maintain and Manage) as well as our most used tools (blog, videos, podcasts, new technology, webinars and supplier database). We kept our site Search box to the top right of the home page, but we added a Narrow Your Search toolbox within each of the four topic areas, which also now includes links to topic-specific news, products and suppliers so that you can dig deeper more quickly.
Other refreshed functions include the homepage displaying the most recent content identified by topic-specific headers and hashtags, the latest print issue content at the top of the page, and dynamic images showcasing the various technologies used within mold manufacturing. Last but not least, be on the lookout for new call-outs and pop-ups that take you to our current special projects, such as the Leadtime Leader Award, #IfAMoldCouldTalk campaign, 30 Under 30 Honors Program, Amerimold, industry data reports, themed content collections and more.
